Talent activation is about deliberately designing experiences throughout the employee lifecycle – from recruitment to retention – to unleash employees’ pre-existing strengths, energize performance, and drive growth. An activated workforce is highly engaged, productive and loyal, enhancing collaboration and leveraging learning and development as a competitive advantage. Recent research by DeVry University's Career Advisory Board showed that organizations are embracing talent activation: 90 percent of survey respondents shared that their organizations are focusing on the candidate and employee experiences. However, despite these efforts, significant skills gaps still persist at all levels.
